History

Uzunkopru School of Applied Sciences as dependent upon Trakya University Rectorate, was founded in accordance with the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 27.02.2012 (No. 2012/2882) .
The decision of the Council of Ministers was published in the Official Gazette enacted on 23.03.2012 (No. 28242).
Uzunkopru School of Applied Sciences started education with six departments with the decision of The Council of Higher Education dated 09.05.2012.

The task of the school directorate was conducted by Prof. Dr. Erol ÇAKIR at Trakya University, School of Medicine, until 16.01.2013. Since then, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Sarıoğlu has been the director of Uzunkopru School of Applied Sciences.
